Are diabetics allowed free shoes every year?

Yes, diabetics with medicare, who meet the medicare criteria, do receive a free pair of medicare approved shoes and three inserts each year. Medicare has strick guidelines to determine who is eligible for the free shoes, but the program is very rewarding for those in need. To discover if you are eligible for a pair of medicare approved shoes, please call medicare or ask your doctor at your next office appointment.
