Education is Prevention

Did you know many of your common foot problems can be prevented through proper education? Often, people will let their feet hurt for years before they will actually go see a doctor! Whether their scared to hear the diagnosis or just too busy, it is very important to maintain proper foot health and to regularly visit your doctor.

Our doctors understand many foot problems can be prevented if people had the proper education. Simple rules, such as wearing the proper shoes, checking your feet daily, and using proper nail cutting rules can keep your feet healthy and happy.

In addition, it is vital to understand the "issues" you need to look for that can eventually grow into bigger problems. For example, if you are a diabetic, you need to check your feet daily for problems such as ulcers, numbness, and cuts. Also, if you notice changes in your nails, skin, or bones, you may need to be seen by a doctor.

In order to help our community stay healthy and problem free we attend many health fairs, we conduct seminars and lectures across the state from religious venues, other doctor's offices, senior centers, firehouses, police stations and more.
