CAM Walker | Walking Boot

A CAM walker (Controlled Ankle Movement) or walking boot is used for conditions such as fractures, plantar fasciitis, and Achilles tendonitis. The boot helps to limit motion in the foot and ankle and allow it to heal.

There are many benefits to wearing the CAM Walker. First, the CAM walker is lightweight and removable. The boot is designed to allow you to continue with normal everyday life activities while still helping to heal the problem. You can still walk and get around more easily than you could with a traditional cast. Patients love that they are able to take off the boot when they shower. With traditional boots, you must cover the area with a bag and shower around the foot or ankle.
