A retired Long Island businessman hired the "Sex in The City" set designer to build a replica of Carrie Bradshaw's fantasy walk-in closet for his label-loving wife. The closet is 400 square feet and holds up to 400 pairs of designer shoes!

The closet is also designed to hold dozens of handbags, racks of clothes organized by label, as well as drawers full of over sized sunglasses and bling.  The closet cost $175,000 to build and was "worth every penny" says the housewife who chose to remain anonymous.

In the movie Carrie receives her dream closet as a gift from her fiance, Mr. Big.  In this case life imitated art. Designers Lisa Frants and Lydia Marks say their next challenge is to build a matching closet for the client's husband.
400 pairs of designer shoes, I can imagine this wonderful closet. A real beauty!

The footwear is one of our most popular and is pretty hard to get a hold of in many sizes right now. (For more info... )
