For those who want convenience and something that will work fast, we offer the laser. For those who want to handle the nail fungus at their own pace, we have a topical solution and much more.
Nail Fungus Treatment
We offer a topical option in which we treat the fungus with Clarus and Kera toenail solution and also utilize a special spray called Mycomist to kill the fungus causing agents in your shoes. We also offer the option of Lamisil and give the patient the option to take this oral medication but caution patients on the harmful effects on the liver.
Laser Therapy for Toenail Fungus
This brings us to our laser therapy which targets the fungus at the base of the nail allowing normal healthy looking nail to grow. In addition to the laser, we cover the sometimes unsightly appearance with a topical solution called Keryflex to give a more pleasing aesthetic appearance to the nail
Keeping Nail Fungus Away
This brings me to our maintenance plan. Every 3 months, to keep the fungus from potentially growing back, we offer a follow up laser management. We look at this as if when you go to the dentist for routine cleanings. This is the same way that we look at our treatment of fungus.
