There are many foot problems that occur most frequently in the summer. Warts, nail and foot fungus, splinters, athletes foot and on and on and on! There are quite a few! The reason for so many common foot problems is people are going barefoot, they're enjoying more outside activities, people tend to exercise more in summer, people go to public pools and beaches also.
The easiest ways to prevent foot problems:
- Wear shoes....always! Even in the house
- Wear the right shoes for the activity you're involved in
- Wear socks with shoes, and change them frequently if you sweat a lot.
- Get regular check ups from a podiatrist
