“The moment I got a call from The Rock, I trained harder than I ever have before.” Dr. Schaeffer has always been athletic. He was raised in Pottstown, PA. He has played a variety of sports including soccer and basketball but his favorite was always baseball. Dr. Schaeffer attended Palm Beach Atlantic University where he played center field for the Sailfish.
After Dr. Schaeffer finished medical school at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, he completed a Foot & Ankle Reconstructive Surgery Residency Program at Carepoint Health- Hoboken University Medical Center. He focused on sports medicine, foot & ankle reconstructive surgery and wound care.
Dr. Schaeffer joined Family Foot & Ankle Specialists in Piscataway & Hillsborough, NJ after graduation. He treats all types of foot and ankle pain from all ages of patients.
