Dr. Schaeffer was chosen to be a contestant on The Titan Games hosted by The Rock on NBC. Out of over 100 people chosen, Dr. Schaeffer made it all the way to the semi-finals, being only 1 of 16 people remaining.
"Just being picked was an honor," says Dr. Schaeffer. "Competing in it was truly something special, especially having my parents out there watching it. It was very humbling. Just to prove to myself once again that the dedication I have inside of me can get me there."
He's Been an Athlete Since Childhood
Growing up as a child athlete and going on to play collegiate baseball, Dr. Schaeffer has been training for a competition like this his whole life! He is a fierce competitor but a gentle doctor!
Dr. Schaeffer treats many athletes with a range of sports injuries. He completed a highly regarded foot and ankle reconstructive surgery residence at Carepoint Health- Hoboken University Medical Center after completing medical school at Temple University.
