I've had a variety of foot issues over the years, some worse than others. The most recent was due to an accessory navicular that was causing severe pain after being on my feet for long hours or physical activity such as running. The pain sometimes went as high as an 8-9.

At it's worst, the pain prevented me from going to the gym and sometimes even work. During one particular episode, I had an entire vacation ruined due to the amount of pain I experienced. I sat around the entire time while while the family enjoyed the beach. I couldn't walk at all since it hurt so much.

I feel almost no pain now. After surgery, I began walking and the pain was a 7-8, but has lessened each day as I walk more. After a week, the pain is now around a 2 and will probably completely go away in another few weeks.
