Hillsborough podiatrist, Dr. Robert Kosofsky explains a condition called gout. Gout is when your blood has too much uric acid in it. Gout "flares" are known to be excruciating but there are some foods you can avoid to help reduce the number of gout attacks you experience. High protein food such as meat, shellfish, organ meat are known to cause problems with those suffering from gout, as well as beer and grain alcohol.
