Dr. Dana Waters explains the causes and treatment for Adult Acquired Flatfoot Deformity also known as Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction. There are tendons on either side of the foot that contribute to the function of the foot...when these tendons are injured, the foot can become very painful and inflammed. Orthotics are a great treatment option as well as a preventative measure.
