http://www.stopfootpainfast.com/ Our typical diabetics that come into the office have nerve problems, called neuropathy. Neuropathy affects the tingling sensation in your hands, feet, and toes. That tingling sensation can lead to you being compromised. For example, when you are walking you might not be able to feel something that is affecting your foot as it would another individual. For example, if you stepped on a thumbtack, you might not be able to feel it, leading to an infection. You then would be coming to our office and we would be addressing that infection. Diabetes and the foot have a large role in our practice and our practice management due to neuropathy problems and the vascular problems that accompany that as well. If you have diabetic foot problems, contact Dr. Schaeffer in our Piscataway office at 732-968-3833 or reach us online at http://www.stopfootpainfast.com/contact.cfm.
