What is a Tailor's Bunion/Bunionette?

Dr. Peter Wishnie explains what a tailor's bunion is and how it differs from a typical bunion. The big difference is where the bunion is located. A bunion is located next to the big toe, while a bunionette is located near the pinky toe. The problem with a bunionette is that it puts pressure on the bone as well as a nerve that is located near the pinky. Shoes do not cause bunionettes but they can make the pain worse.
